I sent you recorded delivery letter on 25th October 2018 and received no reply; accordingly visited your offices on 3rd December 2018. We waited nearly 40 minutes to be seen and then we were told at counter 14 by an officer that we have to send this complain in writing!!! . I totally dispute with the Councils view regarding the debt claimed and gave all the evidence to the officer and I ALREADY had sent all the proofs that at the relevant time I was living at (council already have evidence); Please see attached Walsall Health Care Letter dated 29th June 2015, Walsall Council Tax Bill PAID, Council tax paid receipt 6th August 2015 to Walsall Council regarding the bill dated 20th May 2015, British Gas bill dated 24th July 2015, 26th September 2015, Lloyds Bank Card statement dated 4th October 2015,3rd December 2015 and the tenancy agreement dated 10th May 2015 from the new landlord for(council already have evidence).Bristow & Sutor has confirmed that they have considered the evidence and have forwarded to the council and only going ahead as the recovery debt is asked by the council (email proofs). I believe that the Council is acting unfairly and trying to steal public money to full fill the set bill for their own luxuries. If the council does not stop this harassment I will make an application to the Administrative court for consideration and will organize a protest outside council office. I hope you would not be in breach of public trust and believe that it would not require Administrative court consideration and would try to avoid the court costs and stop stealing public money.Kind regards
I emailed Sandwell Council and had a reply telling me they could not help me but to call a tel. no, and to press option 3. After pressing option 3 there were several more options. I pressed the one which was relevant to my problem, and there were more options, and believe it or not some more. Finally there was a long automated information pack which was totally irrelevant to my problem with the ending "Thank you for calling Sandwell Council, good-bye" and that's it. End of. Couldn't speak to anybody. Just a lot of automated bumf and the phone cut off. Totally unacceptable!
Literally useless took 15 mins just to get through to be told a bill which is clearly wrong has to be paid within 7 days how they can send a letter demanding money within 7 days is beyond me yet they owed me 195 quid and i never saw it only to be told theyv used it for this so called bill that has appeared all of a sudden I don't even live in sandwell anymore and they still find a way to tax money off you
Great to deal with and some genuinely good people work here. They are forward thinking and dealing with resources well.
